    Dr. Chambers treats all types of orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions through non-operative measures and has been doing so in Collin County since 2000. He also practices Electrodiagnostic Medicine, performing EMG and nerve studies that help diagnose various neurologic disorders. A large part of his practice involves the non-operative treatment of neck and back pain through the use of various spine procedures, including injections.

    Dr. Chambers graduated from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport in 1996 and underwent four years of postgraduate training in the PM&R program at the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas. He served as the Chief Resident of the program from 1999-2000. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of PM&R and also a member of the International Pain & Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS) and the American Academy of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM).

    Dr. Chambers currently has privileges at Methodist Hospital of McKinney and Methodist Craig Ranch Surgery Center, where he performs outpatient procedures when needed. He formally served on the Executive Board at OrthoTexas Physicians and Surgeons, before choosing to open a brand new facility for his patients in 2014. He lives in Frisco with his wife and two sons. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and performing research on the medical aspects of the crucifixion of Jesus.

    About Avari Garcia PT

    Director of Physical Therapy

    Avari Garcia, PT, DPT, MPT, CWT, CMP, CMT specializes in both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic/spinal disorders and sports medicine. Avari is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science. Earning a Masters of Physical Therapy, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and earned her clinical doctorate from Texas Woman’s University. She is also a certified Pilates instructor. Avari Garcia performed her internship at Stanford University before moving to Texas. She has also served in the United States Army Reserve.

    Avari has practiced in orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy her entire physical therapy career, with over 20 years in Collin County alone. She is well respected by her peers and the area medical community for the quality of care she provides her patients. She has been instrumental in developing spinal rehabilitation protocols and implementing specialized programs including core stabilization with yoga, Pilates, physioball and foam roller. As a former collegiate athlete herself, she enjoys treating athletes and sports medicine injuries. There is also an emphasis on functional exercise progressions, ergonomic training and manual therapy. Avari often focuses on developing a personalized home exercise program after discharge from our facility.

    Other services we offer at our clinic include total joint replacement rehabilitation, women’s health physical therapy, and pre/post operative orthopedic rehabilitation.

    Avari has lived in the Dallas area for the past 20+ years. She enjoys spending time with her family, daily exercise at her local fitness facility, and recreational sports.

    About Christine Terasaki PA-C

    Christine is a native Southern Californian and moved to the Dallas area a few years ago. She has a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University and a Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from USC. She has 10 years of experience as a physician assistant and believes that while advances in medical technology and medications are very beneficial, compassion and empathy go a long way in treating a patient. She is a big proponent of vitamin therapy, supplements, exercise and diet as a part of a person’s total health. She is married to her wonderful husband and has two daughters and another child on the way in early 2022. She loves trying new restaurants, cooking, specialty coffee, traveling, playing volleyball and hanging out with friends.

    About Megan Kalra NP

    Nurse Practitioner

    Megan Kalra, NP is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Westminster College with her Bachelors and Masters in nursing. Megan worked for eight years in a neurosurgery ICU and then went back for her Nurse Practitioner masters degree.

    After completing her training, Megan worked in urgent care for three years where she treated many orthopedic and acute injuries.  Megan is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

    In her spare time Megan enjoys spending time with her family, skiing and being outdoors.
